I am an economist and data scientist studying how workers, firms, and institutions adapt to economic transformation. My research sits at the intersection of labor economics, health economics, and digital development — asking how information, technology, and policy shape economic outcomes in settings as different as Southeast Asian labor markets, U.S. healthcare, and professional sports.
I currently work as an Economist at the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East-Asia (ERIA) in Jakarta, where I study digital skills demand and workforce readiness across the ASEAN region. Before that, I was a data scientist at Valenz Health, where I built provider evaluation methods that powered analytics products. I have a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Houston, where I was advised by Chinhui Juhn and Yona Rubinstein.
I like building things with data as much as writing about it.
